Career Planning
Career Planning
Welcome Project GPS2 & MSP students! One great component of Project GPS2 is specialized career guidance. A specialist is available every Fall and Spring semester within the Career & Life Planning Center to meet with you and discuss all of your career-related questions.
You may say to yourself, “I already know which career I’m interested in”. That is definitely good news, but this resource can still help you with your career development.
Spring 2010 Newsletters
For those clearly decided majors-are you aware of the following?
The growth of your career field?
- Future potential earnings?
- Related professional associations?
- Which degrees, certifications, or licenses are needed?
- How to network with working professionals in your chosen field?
- Your own interests, values, skills, and personality?
- Related occupations and/or majors?
These are just a few of the questions you should be asking yourself. Meeting with your Career Guidance Specialist can help you answer all of those questions, plus many more.
